Gangtok Darjeeling tour package combined itinerary with sightseeing

Gangtok Darjeeling Tour Package

Two of the Himalayas' most-loved hill towns in one seamless trip — Gangtok's monasteries & lakes and Darjeeling's tea gardens & toy train, planned by a local operator.

Why Combine Gangtok & Darjeeling in One Trip?

They sit just a few hours apart, yet feel like two different worlds — and doing both is the most popular way to experience the Eastern Himalayas. Darjeeling gives you Tiger Hill sunrise, the UNESCO toy train, colonial charm and rolling tea gardens. Gangtok adds vibrant Sikkimese culture, monasteries, Tsomgo Lake and the road to Nathula. AU Cloud Tours Pvt. Ltd., based in Siliguri between the two, joins them into one smooth itinerary with a single private cab.

Our Gangtok Darjeeling tour packages include Bagdogra/NJP pickup, hotels in both towns, all sightseeing, permits for Tsomgo Lake & Nathula, and 24/7 support — so the two-town logistics never fall on you.

Suggested Route & Best Time

Most travellers land at Bagdogra/NJP, head first to Darjeeling (about 3 hours), spend 2–3 days, then drive to Gangtok (about 4 hours) for the Sikkim leg before returning. The best months are March–June and October–December for clear mountain views. We fine-tune the order to your arrival time and interests.

Frequently Asked Questions

6–7 days covers both comfortably (2–3 days each plus travel). If you also want North Sikkim (Lachung, Yumthang), plan 9–10 days for a relaxed pace.

About 100 km, roughly a 4-hour scenic drive. Our private cab handles the transfer directly, so you don't return all the way to Siliguri in between.

Darjeeling first works best for most arrivals, since it's closer to NJP/Bagdogra, and you finish the trip in Gangtok. We adjust based on your flight/train timing and permit dates.

No permit for Darjeeling or Gangtok town. Tsomgo Lake, Nathula and North Sikkim need permits — we arrange all of them for you in advance with ID proof and photos.
